Senite started out as a student at The People's Music School in 2004, with studies of piano, guitar, and voice. She continued as a student until 2020 where she graduated with history of poetry, 5 released songs, and more than ten years of songwriting. She wrote her first poem in the 5th grade, titled "If Love Was Like The Movies." Her passion for poetry and songwriting continued to flourish, and started a trio her sophomore year in high school that went by the name of "Elephant In The Room". She sung with two other TPMS students, then it became a duo, with partner Mia Madrigal, and was renamed as SeniteandMia. Senite and Mia decided to work on their own music solo, but came a long the group SEMI, led by Katch.

SEMI became the gateway to her collaborations with other artists, where she featured on the song "Roses" with Rafa, and featured on numorous other songs with other SEMI members. She released "dear clementine" June 25, 2019 on Soundcloud, and followed it by "peterpan", "days on its way", and "i don't need you demo". She later expanded to all platforms at the start of 2020, and released "End It (Interlude), "Nike Cortez", and "The Guest Room EP."

Senite's songwriting style took a lot of inspiration from Frank Ocean, J Cole, SZA, Noname, and many artists in the R&B/Soul and Hip Hop/Rap genres. "I remember when Frank Ocean released Channel Orange, the entire world shook. His lyrics mean much more than words can describe." She began doing covers of songs on Youtube, and started to gain recognition. and started writing more and focused a lot on her own craft. She found a love for artists like Clairo, WILLOW, Alessia Cara, Brent Faiyaz, and Rex Orange County. "I normally listened to what I thought was 'made for me' but realized that these artists literally work as hard as I do, and started the same way I did too."

She released her first song at the age of 17, and is still continuing to release music now. Senite's new EP and part 1 of her trilogy, "The Guest Room" is out now on all platforms.
